Studies have shown that special children tends to get Stomach Blockage more often than normal children. This is because special children have weak bladder and bowel system. Moreover, special children have allergic to many types of food.

To overcome this problem, parents should improve the eating habits of your special child and encourage them to change any habits that lead to stomach blockage.

For example, parents need to put more fiber in their special child’s diet such as fruits, vegetables, whole wheat bread and cereals which they eat. Even if you tried to gluten-free and casein-free diet, you should choose foods that are rich in fiber. But keep in mind also, parents cannot provide too large amount of fiber in the food as this can cause bloating and gas.

In addition to providing high-fiber foods, parents should seek therapy for their special children too.
