- Soda or carbonated drinks / fizzy drink.
- Sweetened or sugary food.
- Cookies, cakes, Ice Cream (Desserts).
- Chinese Mooncake / Chinese Glutinous rice / Dumplings.
- Fruit juice or fruits that high in sugar content (e.g: banana, durian, mango, mangosteen, longan, rambutan).
- Bread that is sweet (White bread / Fancy pastry).
- Processed Cereals (e.g: Cococrunch).
- Cheese.
- Sweetened Jam (Fruit jam / Peanut butter).
- Yogurt.
- Coffee with added sugar and creamer.
- Processed Meat / Preserved food.
- Artificial Trans fat.
- Artificial flavoured drink.
CAN TAKE
- Little bit of Olive Oil.
- Eat more fresh or cooked garlic.
- Reduce White rice (Polished rice).
Advice from TheTole
- Should use more staircase and walk more.
- Try to wear tracksuits and bottom while doing housework, washing cars or house chores to get the sweat out. (Gym 2 times a week are not enough).
- Always be in good mood as much as possible.
- Have some Chinese Yam or Wai San.
Free diabetic treatment advice
In 1990s, a very good friend who used to be a poor driver has a severe diabetic. We gave some advice for him to follow:
1. Exercise every single day.
2. Smile in front of mirror for 5 minutes and 3 times a day.
