Nummular eczema is a common type of eczema that can occur at any age and also known as discoid eczema and nummular dermatitis. This type of eczema is a non specific term for coin-shaped plaques of scaling skin most often on the lower legs of older individuals which may be very itchy.
Some symptoms of nummular eczema include:

Therefore, the purpose of the acupuncture treatment is to smooth out the immune system and detoxing whichever organ that is affected.
So, usually before we start the acupuncture session, we will check the patients pulse to identify which are the organs that infected and need to be detoxed.
After some times of acupuncture treatment and herbal medicine, the eczema will slowly gradually disappear. Even for the eczema that you have had for years also could be reverse with proper herbs, acupuncture and diets.
